My name is Kelly and I live in San Diego.  I work as a computer engineer for the Navy as a civil employee.
I'm currently single and I date a couple of local guys.  My hobbies have included weight lifting and
body building and I have competed professionally in my 20's during the mid late 70's at major competitions
around the USA.  I enjoy keeping up with the sport and staying quite fit and in excellent health for my age.
I also enjoy anything athletic including roller blading and hiking.

Recently after attending the 2002 Comic-Con, my very first one, I was introduced to the concept of Lara
look-a-likes and CosPlay.  I've always enjoyed playing Tomb Raider with one of my boyfriends and I really
enjoyed the movie and I loved the way the game and the movie and the comic books brought female strength and courage out of the closet and into main stream as it was long overdue.

"I like Lara Croft because she symbolizes the new modern woman, independent, strong, and courageous and she has popularized this new woman's image which I believe has helped move forward women's causes and issues more than any feminist or feminist group in the past.  Not that I am a feminist but I do support the issue because as a single female all my life I have had to break the glass ceiling on my own.  My athletic hobbies have also alienated me most of my life because I never "fit" the traditional stereotypical image of a woman.  Lara Croft, the character, has ushered in a new era for us women who don't want to fit into the stereotype."
